Over the past several years, the number of questions relating to gender identity has steadily increased. People often don’t know where to turn for answers and don’t know how to respond when faced with sensitive situations in their families or faith communities. These workshops present an overview of the history of these ideologies while offering guidance in pastorally navigating questions of gender with fidelity to the teachings of the Church.

Our presenter is author and moral philosopher Theresa Farnan, PhD. Part of the Ethics and Public Policy Center’s “Person and Identity Project,” Dr. Farnan served on the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life, and Youth and is a member of the Catholic Women’s Forum Advisory Council.
