As medical technology advances, new treatments, procedures, and therapies emerge that were once unimaginable. While these developments hold great promise, the fact that something is scientifically possible, or culturally/politically popular does not make it morally acceptable. The Catholic Church teaches that every medical intervention must respect the dignity of the human person and the sanctity of life. Some procedures, despite their benefits, may violate these principles by treating human life as a means to an end rather than as a sacred gift from God. As faithful Catholics, it is essential to evaluate medical advancements through the lens of Church teaching, ensuring that our choices align with God’s plan for human life and dignity.
