Respect Life Month

The USCCB has recognized October as Respect Life Month.

In Respect Life Month we are asked to renew our commitment to proclaiming, defending, and upholding the dignity of all people, at every age, station, ability, and identity. As Saint Thomas Aquinas articulates – the most excellent of Christian virtues is “caritas,” the call to love others not because of what they can do for us, but simply because God called them to exist.

Respect Life Grant
This annual grant funds the incredible and oftentimes life saving work of ministries and pro-life organizations across the commonwealth. A second collection for this grant happens in January, but we accept contributions at any time. This grant allows the combined generosity of the faithful of our diocese to make a tremendous impact in organizations, ministries, and services in our state standing up for life.
