What is a Religious Emblem Facilitator Training?

All scouts are invited to pursue religious emblems through their various units. Several religious emblems require that facilitators be trained before they work with Scouts on the emblems. This training opportunity will be a chance for all interested adults to learn how to facilitate these religious emblems for a scouting unit. The emblems that will be covered will include:

  • Ad Altare Dei (Boy Scouts)
  • Pope Pius XII (Boy Scouts)
  • Marian Medal (Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls)
  • Spirit Alive (Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls)

The religious emblem program is one way to help keep young people connected to the Catholic Church. Generous and caring adults are needed to make sure that scouts can pursue these emblems.

Who should attend?

Any scout leader, parent, or adult who is interested in helping scouts remain connected to their faith. We especially invite adults who are new volunteers, however, we also invite any returning facilitators whose training took place five or more years ago.

When is the next event?

The next event is still to be determined.
